book club
As a way to read more, and get in more girl time, my friends and I started a book club. Each month we read a new book one of us has selected. Feel free to read along!

I too didn’t get through Corelli’s Mandolin, but I am almost done with Red Tent. I guess I’m an every-other-month book club member. Can’t wait to finish it so I can see you and the girls!
Is this an online book club? I’d love to join!
“The Alchemist” is one of my all-time faves!
My friends and I meet monthy, but I thought it would be fun if any blog readers wanted to also read the books along with us. I mention our meetings in the post. It has definitely gotten me reading more!
hey I just noticed your book club tab! I think we have similar taste because I loved The Alchemist, Farenheit 451, Animal Farm, and The Friday Night Knitting Club! I’m going to be checking back here periodically, so thanks Kristen!
Great! Yeah, I thought it would be fun to add this as a link. Happy Reading!
The Red Tent is my ALLTIME favorite book. I’ve read it 3 or 4 times.
I wondered what that Knitting Club book is like? Easy, breezy? Good or not worth it?
I really liked it and everyone that read it that month enjoyed it. I would say it is worth it if you like those types of books.
I just finished a really good book; Sputnik Sweetheart. It’s my new favourite book. I HIGHLY recomend it for you, seeing that we have similar taste in books.
Thanks so much! I will have to mention it to the book club!
Awesome list! I recently wrote a review on Eat Pray Love (http://bit.ly/cKfaK0). I’m thinking of picking up White Oleander soon…would you recommend it?
Thanks for stopping by!
I thought White Oleander was a great book. I would definitely recommend it.
Love your blog! Me and my friends started a book club in 2008 – we’ve read several of the same ones! My goal this year is 52 – 1/week – eek! I love it – so glad to find reading again. Very cool that you’re an RD – off to peruse your blog some more!
Thanks for stopping by!
I love your goal of 52 books in a year! Let me know if you have any good book recommendations!
Great blog
Water For Elephants is a great book! Read it last year. Hope you can finish it.
I hope I do too! I have really enjoyed it so far.
Thanks for stopping by!
