Hi, friends! I hope your weekend was just fabulous!
I attended
a baby shower Saturday afternoon where I have to give my friend Ashley mad props for making some amazing cake pops! And how darling is this “cake” made out of diapers!?!
Sunday swanky boyfriend enjoyed date night which started with dinner at my parents followed by seeing Zero Dark Thirty. The story details the tracking and killing of Osama Bin Laden. It was very interesting to see a bit of the “behind the scenes” sort of thing. Although it was almost 3 hours, the movie had my attention the whole time. A good one to see.
The other highlight was getting my new purse in the mail..or should I say camera bag!!
You know me the food blogger always bring her camera around. I stumbled across this darling site called Epiphanie Bags that had the most adorable selection of camera bags that look just like purses. How perfect is that!?!
The
bag is really roomie and I love that it has a zipper. It is somewhat difficult to see but there are various inserts that are velcro and removable. I took out a few of the inserts to give you a better look and the neat thing is that you can arrange them any way you would like!
As you can see, I stored my wallet and glasses on the left and had loads of room for my camera on the right side of my bag.
The bag also has a big compartment in the front to store lip gloss and even extra memory cards.
Although I wouldn’t use it daily (I sort of want to though) I know it will be perfect for when I need my camera and also the ideal bag for trips. I just love it!
I’m looking forward to relaxing and tuning into the Bachelor! I really like Sean and hope he is really genuine. Who am I kidding..most of them aren’t but a girl can hope. ![]()
I am sorry for the lack of posting lately. I have been a bit of a slacker on the blog front lately but I promise I will do my best to keep the blog updated. As always, thanks for reading!
Any new finds you love? What movies have you seen lately that are a must-see?

Oh I always like a new bag of any kind!! I just got a new Mizuno thermal running top I got to test out today. Great find for winter
Ohhhh that is a really pretty bag! Swanky, for sure
Love the camera purse-tres chic! Last movie I saw was Lincoln-phenomenal! My daughter just saw Parental Guidance with her friend and said it was very good. Hope you have a wonderful week Kristen!
The baby shower cake pops and cake are adorable! And so is your bag…but in a “chic/trendy adorable” way.
I’m going to head over to the Epiphanie website after I’m done here, because I’d LOVE a bag like that of my own! Carrying a DSLR can be tricky, and this looks like the perfect solution.
I’m glad to hear you enjoyed Zero Dark Thirty! It’s on my list of must-see’s this month!
Ahhhh! That bag is amazing! I want one
I am telling you, it was one of the best purchases I’ve made! I have used it so much already!
LOVED LOVED Zero Dark Thirty – enough to want to see it again. Jessica Chastain and Jason Clarke were phenomenal.
Great bag
Hi Nancy! Yes, SUCH a good movie!!!:)
Your new bag is super-cute! It looks just like a purse. I could see myself carrying that around every day. I just love how it is adjustable inside, too. I know you’ll have lots of fun with it, Kristen!
Love the adorable cake pops!
That bag is fantastic! Note to self: there ARE cute camera bags out there…get out and find yourself one! Hope you’re doing well Kristen!!!
Ah I really want to watch that movie, but I just saw Les Mis, so I’m going to have to wait a bit before I sit down for a crazy long movie again. BTW love the bag!
I love that bag!! I hate having to carry my purse AND my camera bag – I sometimes grab one and not the other!
Hope you have a great weekend!
The cake pops are so cute, and so is the “diaper cake!”
I love the camera bag! Such a great idea!
Have a great weekend!
oooo One thing I hate about good cameras is the lack of ability to carry them around in a cute way! Thanks for the purse recommendation! i will be checking it out!
That’s such a cute bag! Love all the compartments and stylish too. Hope you have a great long weekend girlie
I love that bag, Kristen! I know another weekend just passed, but I hope you’re doing well
Love the bag! Although I have not watched that movie, my hubby did and said it was amazing. I should probably give it a try
