Hi! How are ya? I’m so glad I’ve already had quite a few entries for the Driscoll’s berry coupon giveaway. Make sure to enter if you haven’t already. You have until next Tuesday, February 7th to enter.
Remember when I told you about my bucket list? Well, I think I’ve done pretty well crossing off my goals since I first posted this back in October 2010.
Some of the things I’ve crossed off…

Learned to knit (didn’t keep with that one unfortunately)

Getting my Master’s Degree (working on it.

And next up..
Snowboarding!!
This Saturday, I am going snowboarding (lesson and all) with a Vegas blogger group. I will be blogging all about it so make sure to stay tuned. Fingers crossed I don’t drop my camera in snow. #youknowyoureablogger ![]()
And speaking of my Master’s…I have my first exam coming up next week! I have been going through my notes to prepare. The exam is based on public relations basics, ethics, and successful public relations strategies to name just a few.
Fun PR Fact:
Edward Bernays was known as the “Father of Modern Public Relations.” One of campaigns he promoted was called “Lights Golden Jubilee.” In 1929 the whole world turned off the lights all at one time for one minute to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Thomas Edison ’s invention of electricity. Neat, huh!
What goals have you recently accomplished or would like to this year?

Great post! I have to go back and do that with my Japan bucket list too. I think after January it is time for an update. I am so jealous you are going snowboarding. It’s on my list too. Have an awesome time! Can’t wait to hear all about it.
I would LOVE to take a photography class or go on a cruise!1 I’m so happy you are achieving goals…what a great feeling! One of my New Years resolution was to do a half marathon out of state and I am planning that right now…Hollywood in April
Wow, you are a bucklist list checking mama. This year, my book, another marathon and being more patient (with my kids). Let’s see.
Wow – you really did get a lot of goals accomplished! It must feel great
I think I need to add going on a cruise to my list of goals over the next few years. I just read your post and it looks like it would be so much fun to go with a friend!
Have fun snowboarding!
wow, that’s great you already checked so many things off your list!
Hope you have a blast snowboarding!!
Thanks Heather!!!
Have a fabulous weekend.
Awesome on checking some things off your list girlie! I have learned to surf & paddle board, took a trans-atlantic cruise and traveled to Barcelona.
About snowboarding…remember that the first day is never fun (for anybody) you will be sore, bruised and tired. BUT the second day is awesome! Be patient.
You will have a blast!
xoxo from Trinidad
Unfortunately I’m only going for one day!
Hopefully I catch on quick.
My next goal is to buy a house!!
Have fun snowboarding! I tried it twice and it did not work out well for me – but I’m sure you’ll do much better!
That’s a great goal, Amy!!
Hi Kristen! I just found your blog and thought I’d leave a comment.
I love your goals, and way to accomplished so much since October!
So glad you stopped by Caroline!
Snowboarding with a blogger group? How fun! I’m very jealous!
I would like to do another duathlon this year…we will see!
How fun! I haven’t gone snowboarding in a couple years now it seems but it’s always a blast. One of my goals this year is to learn how to make 100% whole grain bread that my hubby will enjoy. He’s so picky with homemade bread and I won’t compromise and not go 100%. Oh and also get good at making baguettes
Go Girl! You’re doing great with the bucket list!
Have fun & good luck with the snowboarding! I loved going when I lived in Colorado. I’ll never forget the first time though… 4 hours of banging my body into the ground. Maybe you’ll be a little more coordinated
Very cool =)
I would have to put buying a home as one of my top priorities of 2012!!
That’s a great goal, Lisa!!
Super cool! Isn’t it amazing, the life that you live??? I am super happy to share it with you!
and snowboarding? all the cool kids do it (that’s why I ski…I am a NERD!)
Hope you had a fun time snowboarding! I am a skiier …something about having both feet strapped onto 1 board freaks me out, I feel much safer with both feet on their own. We have not had much snow to go downhill skiing in Ohio, so I am totally jealous of your trip!
My goal this year is to run a 5k and actually run the whole thing. I never was a runner, I always try exercise, but usually end up on the bike or elliptical or a group fitness class.
Good luck on your test
Good luck snowboarding!! I’m such a pansy about those things!!!!! I should probably make a bucket list sometime, but I tend to make up goals as I go.
I’m super impressed with everything you’ve accomplished from your list so far! Seriously wow! Things I’ve accomplished in the past couple of years I’ve wanted to do-start my own business, go white water rafting, and not planning on this, jumped off a cliff (in to the water
-something I was always scared of as a kid, and started running ( a very little bit ) again after 10 years, including running 2 5 K’s with my daughter. I think I’d really like to try surfing at least once in my life, so that’s on my list to try-hopefully this summer. Hope you have fun snow boarding! I think I’m sticking to skiing
What a great list, EA!!
You know, I would also love to try surfing!!
How fun! I can’t wait to learn how to snowboard…my sis moved to Denver so now I have no excuse when I visit
Congrats on all your accomplishments!!!
So much I want to do, just $$ and a husband on the mend that’s slowing me down for the moment. Once things get back to normal, hope to start crossing some stuff off my bucket list too.
Be careful snowboarding!! I can’t wait to read about it – I’ve only ever been cross country skiing.
