Hello! I am certainly on a roll.
This weekend I celebrated my friend Whitney’s last single night out -aka: her bachelorette party. It was such a great night!
The bridesmaids and the bride-to-be started the festivities at our friend Tiara’s house. We made sure Whitney was decked out in bridal wear! Veil, check! Sash, check! Drinking straw of a certain body part..check!
We got the party started the best way any bachelorette should! ![]()
After doing a bit of pre-partying, we headed to the Hard Rock Hotel for dinner at Johnny Smalls.
We signed up for player’s club cards so we were able to get a great deal on dinner. All you can eat appetizers for 20 bucks! There were so many delicious options…and we kept them coming!
Wholy Guacamole – Diced avocado, fresh jalapeno, olive oil, house made corn tortilla chips
Mac & Cheese Daddy – Fried mac & cheese patties, tomato, arugula, garlic aioli
Um yes, that’s right. It’s a mac and cheese ball burger. Crazy good!
Smalls Balls – Creamy risotto, short ribs, parmesan fondue
Hollywood Roll - Crab, cucumber, avocado, eel sauce, tempura battered. This had to be one of my favorite items from the night.
Leave it the dietitian to like the fried roll. But seriously, this roll was amazing.
Tuna Sashimi – Clean and simple, sesame ginger ponzu
Shorty - Braised short ribs, sage, savory virgin oil and Meat Lover flatbread – Flat iron, pepperoni, meatballs, tuscan sauce, goat cheese, crispy onion.
Girls nights out are the best! What will I do with myself now that the bachelorettes are over…well until April!?!
After dinner, we headed to the South Point Casino to check out the 80’s cover band, The Spazmatics.
Singing, dancing, and picture taking
ensued for the rest of the night!!
Today, I’ve been laying low. Sure you’re not too surprised by that.
Part of my morning including watching Bridesmaids on DVD. I picked it up yesterday and couldn’t wait to watch it. The gag reel is pretty hysterical!
Hope you had a fabulous weekend! I’d love to hear about it!
Have you seen Bridesmaids?? What is your favorite 80’s tune?

OMG…that movie – so funny/uncomfortable/gross/sweet – i loved it. I think its so real….but I could have done without the dress scene….really….im ok without gross humor. Still loved it – which is saying alot!
just because we’re dietitians doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate how good fried food can taste, right?
I agree! I love to indulge once and a while.
Wow… you’ve been busy girl!!
Good times =)
I miss sitting down and watching movies =) I’m asleep before they even start now…
It’s killing me that I still haven’t seen Bridesmaids. It’s on my Netflix list though! I’m also throwing those mac n’ cheese patties on my to-eat list. Mmmmm cheeeese

I need to go see that movie! I like the idea of just ordering all you can eat appetizers for a group dinner. What a good way to try a bit of everything and save $ on the bill!
Aww, I love events like this! Congrats to the bride
She had a great time!
Thanks for stopping by!
I’m jealous of all the partying you’ve been doing! The food looks delish
And I have seen Bridesmaids! Very funny. One of my favorite 80′s songs…Pat Benatar: Love is a Battlefield
