Seattle in the Summer

June 23, 2010

Hi!  Today was one of those days.  You know, those days where you feel like nothing you do matters.  I can’t help but think if a patient I see isn’t doing well, it is my fault.  I guess you can’t win them all.  I am definitely happy to be off tomorrow.  Sorry for the vent.

On to more uplifting and exciting news…Day 2 of my trip to Seattle!

Seattle-Day Two

Summer Solstice Fair-  Definitely something to see.  From what I gathered, anything can be in this parade.  I really didn’t find a theme.  It was a blast though!

View from Alki Beach.  Can you tell I am not used to the cold weather.  I am dressed like it’s snowing.

I had such a great time in Seattle and can’t wait to go back!!

I have lots of laundry to do an errands to run tomorrow.  I have absolutely no food in the house so I am hitting up the grocery store tomorrow.

Have a great evening!

What is your favorite food to splurge on when on vacation?

Ah!! This looks like CRAZY fun! I usually have dessert every night, however the desserts on vacation are always 100 times richer…love to “splurge”. Also anything that has the words “butter sauce” in it.

Some work days are good and some are bad. In the medical field we face many challenges. You do a wonderful job each day – I know that. Patients have to be ready and able to make the change themselves, we are mearly the guides and information givers. Keep you chin up! You are a wonderful RD!
